construction of an apartment building

The project consists of requalifying the site by demolishing the storage and office buildings, and building 42 housing units of varying typologies in three built volumes articulated around a large communal garden following on from the gardens of the surrounding houses. The proposal thus reinforces the green aspect of the block and is in line with a desire to “desoak” the soil. The “concentric” layout of the housing units encourages interaction and encounters between residents.
